High School Staff

Zach Telles

Coach Telles is in his 5th year as Head Coach at The Academy. Zach attended The Academy from 2009-2013, he played all 4 years and was 1st Team all Conference, Honorable Mention All-State, and Frontier League Player of the Year in 2013. He then went on to play 4 years of college basketball at Mount Marty University. After graduating, he joined the Green Mountain High School coaching staff for two years where they made it to the Sweet 16 in 2020. Him and his staff helped lead the boys to their first District Championship in 2022.

Coach Deuce is in his third year coaching at The Academy. He attended The Academy all 4 years in his high school career and was a multi sport athlete for the school. Deuce was the starting PG for the first team to win the district championship in school history in 2022. He was also honorable mention all conference his senior year. Deuce now joins the coaching staff that led him to his accomplishments in hopes to do the same for future players.

Jeff Silver

Coach Silver was born and raised in Westminster CO and played 4 years for Ranum High School between '95-'99. He was a varsity starter in '99 and the lead the team in rebounding. He began coaching youth basketball as a student at CSU in 2002. Coach Silver coached all ages of boys and girls over the years. He spent 3 years at Westminster HS coaching freshman and JV girls. In 2018 he accepted the position to run the the boys Jr. High program at the Academy, where we've won back to back Frontier League championships.
